These images are all taken inside a glacier and were captured by the Photographer Mikael Buck. These amazing photos were taken inside a cave in the Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland. The daylight hours in Iceland in winter are short so taking these photos was not easy. The colours and textures created by the ice help make a wonderful experience for you to walk through and visit.
Glaciers are very sensitive to changes in temperature and are seen as good indicators of climate change. Melting glaciers have been recorded all over the world on every continent.
