Japanese images - Japan is home to many natural hot springs and during the winter months, these monkeys have learnt that they can warm up and relax by having a soak in the hot springs. The Japanese word for hot springs is onsen and it is a popular pastime in Japan to visit an onsen for a relaxing break at the weekend.
Picture of Japan - These torii gates mark the entrance to a temple. To pass through the torii gate is to bring good luck on oneself. To go through this many torii gates must be very lucky.
